The contract writing process for a real estate is complex and well-established. At Spark we refined the experience to allow sales teams to sell faster and more efficiently.

 
 

Problem

We sought to streamline a complex process to help sales teams better manage and write their contracts.

The contract writing process for a real estate is complex and well-established, involving a multitude of stakeholders; from purchasers and their agents, to counter-signers and brokerages.

As a tool Spark was optimized for the early stages of the sales process – establishing customer relationships and tracking clients. The platform that could house all the contracts, but there was no way for sales teams to customize their processes to fit their own workflows or the context in which the sale was taking place.

 

Solution

A simple “stepped contract process” wizard that can be customized for a variety of markets and developers. This would allow sales teams to quickly write contracts and sell units.

My Role

This project had a unique collaboration structure. Once my lead and I had done the groundwork – establishing user needs, I focused my design efforts on the “process builder” whereas they focused on designing the contract writing experience. This case study will touch upon the writer but will be focused on the design process for the builder.
